Dr. Ruiz graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) in San Lorenzo, CA in June of 2000. Among Dr. Ruiz's many awards there, he received inclusion into Who's Who in American Colleges & Universities of 1999 and the Clinical Excellence Citation as LCCW's Top Clinical Intern - Class of June 2000.
Prior to pursuing his career at Chiropractic College, he studied aeronautics and engineering - a passion that still has his interests.
He received his A.S. degree in Mathematics and science at Cosumnes River College in 1995, where he also received numerous academic awards including the multiple Dean's List awards, Honor Roll's and Who's Who in American Colleges & Universities of 1995.
Dr. Ruiz is currently pursuing accreditation as a Functional Nutritionist and a post-Doctoral Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology - ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced health care.
He was the previous owner and Director of the 21-year old practice, Old Towne Chiropractic, from 2005-2009. He owns and directs Ruiz Chiropractic here in Elk Grove.
Dr. Ruiz is happily married to his wife of 18 yrs., Patricia and has 4 beautiful daughters.
